How it works

 All dishes are custom-made from fresh ingredients for each event, from the meat that is smoked or grilled, to the pastries that are baked.  To make sure we have enough time to source ingredients, marinade or do the grilling, we ask that you book your event at least a week ahead.  Some dishes require less advance prep though, so if you're strapped for time, give us a call and we'll let you know what's possible. 

 

Booking is easy -  drop us an email or give us a call to tell us what your preferences are.  You can choose from what’s listed on our menus to the left, or let us know if you had something else in mind.  If you'd like some suggestions, just give us a call.  We will fax, email or snail mail your confirmation to you.

 

Two days before your party, you drop off your oven-proof dishes and serving platters, and we will deliver your order to your home at the agreed-upon time.  If you prefer, you can also choose to have everything delivered on disposable trays, but it creates more work for you if something has to go in the oven, or if you want everyone to think you made it yourself!   

 

It’s always best for delivery to be scheduled at least 2 hours before your guests arrive, so we have time to review any prep and serving instructions with you in advance.  We will furnish you with the last minute written instructions, or if you like, we can even provide a staff member to assist you during your party.  All you will have to do is remember to flip on the oven and entertain your guests. 

 

Payment is due at the time of delivery.  We accept cash or check made out to A Matter of Taste.
